I want a small government.

Now this upon itself is an oxymoron. Government has never been small. Show me a time in the history of this nation where it was a small government and I will give it to you. Now you might say before the civil war it was. I would kinda agree but we don’t live in those times anymore folks. We cannot have a small government. Back than we had muskets, standing in straight lines shooting at each other and we didn’t know a damn thing about economic policy. Today we know about the Keynesian mode of economics and rely on the government and the fed to help us out. You just want a small government because you listen to Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. Still a small government to them is a government that doesn’t regulate the banks and financial industry. We tried it guys…it did not work. We must have regulation of the banks and of the entire system. We will never get by in today’s world with a small government. There can be no such thing with the threat of nuclear strikes, terrorism at home and abroad, health care, education.

I am also tired of hearing about the debt.

TAKE AN ECONOMICS COURSE AND STOP LISTENING TO POLITICIANS ON BOTH SIDES.

They will take our guns away.

Actually if u read the constitution which I am assuming they don’t because they do listen to Glenn Beck for gods sake. Than you would realize we should not even have guns in the first place. Here let me quote the 2nd amendment for you

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

You think I am lying look it up. Don’t complain just be happy you have guns. Cuz I don’t think a bunch of rednecks running around like morons with there guns counts as a well regulated militia…Maybe in Somalia but definitely not in the United States.
